There will be a shuttle from this hotel to and from the wedding. This hotel is walking distance from Downtown Winslow and the Ferry Terminal (about one mile or a 15-20 minute walk) but if you'd like to explore other parts of Bainbridge or the Olympic Peninsula, we'd recommend having a car. Travel Note
The Courtyard Marriot Seattle Downtown/Pioneer Square hotel can be conveniently reached by public transportation from the airport. Take the Light Rail train from the SeaTac/Airport station to Pioneer Square Station (10 stops). The hotel is approximately 1 block away on Second Avenue. Fare is $3 per person. Trains run every 6-15 minutes depending on the time of day. If you are staying in Seattle, you can use the Ferry to take you across the Puget Sound to the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal where we will have shuttle to the wedding. We recommend taking the 12:30pm ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge. If you'd like to spend time in downtown Bainbridge or arrive a bit early, there is an 11:25pm ferry. If you are running late, there is a 1:15pm ferry (however this may be cutting it close). Seattle Ferry Terminal Information: Colman Dock, the Seattle ferry terminal, is located on the Seattle Waterfront at Pier 52. This is where you access Washington State Ferries to Bainbridge Island. You can buy your tickets in advance or purchase once you get to the terminal. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure if you are walking on.
