What is the suggested attire for this event?

Answer

Our celebration is a formal event. We kindly ask guests to wear tea- to maxi-length dresses, elegant separates, or a suit or other formal attire. Cocktail-length dresses and more casual styles are best saved for another occasion.

I am in Chicago, how can I get to the event?

Answer

For our guests based in Chicago, our recommendation is to either drive or take the Metra UP North line to Kenosha, keeping available train times in mind. Amtrak also offers the Hiawatha service to nearby Sturtevant, from which a 30 minute ride share could be employed to Kenosha. More information is on our travel page.

How far is the reception venue from the chapel?

Simmons Auditorium is on site at Kemper Center, approximately 250 feet away from Kemper Chapel.

Answer

Parking is on site at Kemper Center, directly south of Simmons Auditorium.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

The venue is not ADA accessible, with stairs at the chapel and auditorium entries. Additionally, the interior of the auditorium also has stairs. Please plan accordingly.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception take place indoors, with a short outdoor walk on a paved path between the two.
