Mason had an interview with Florida Gulf Coast University, and as soon as he walked in Sabrina informed her co-worker that Mason had a nice beard. After Mason received the job, him and Sabrina became great support for each other. The two had a lot in common yet still many differences that served as new adventures of getting to know one another. Over time and one last interview process also known as the "the first date" that took place a taco bell the two felt a deeper connection. It was soon after that the two started dating and making their own adventures small and big.

As the saying goes, "Why wait until tomorrow for what can be done today." Mason thought about this when thinking on why he didn't propose to Sabrina sooner already. Luckily for Mason, Sabrina was the one to make the initial plans without knowing what the outcome would be. She called Mason immediately after work one day and asked if he would like to do something and get away for the evening. As he asked Sabrina what she had in mind, she suggested going to Downtown Fort Myers, giving Mason the perfect scenario to propose to her in. As they arrived, Mason got out to rearrange his sock and the ring box, being noticed by Sabrina when turning to his side of the car. As she asked what he was doing, his best excuse was nothing other than, "I'm just tying my shoe." As they walked over to the boat docks, Mason couldn't help but think, "She knows, I've blown my cover. I just hope that the scenery will make up for my mistake of making it too obvious." To his surprise, Sabrina was still not aware whatsoever. They made their way to the docks, as Sabrina began in suggesting further with pictures near the water. They took plenty of pictures of each other, as Mason was careful to hide the buldge from his calf in the pictures. Finally, the couple made it to the bridge. As the moments grew closer and Mason knew what he needed to do, he took a deep breath. Concerned, Sabrina asked if he was okay. Mason asked to take more pictures, something Sabrina loves to do. As Mason asked to take a "wacky picture of him in the background of her," Sabrina went along with this weird request and took selfies with Mason doing poses in the background. As she continued, Mason transitioned into getting on his knee and pulling the ring out of his sock, holkding it up and opening the box. She turns around and asks, "Is this real?" Mason simply replies, "Sabrina, I want to go on so many more adventures with you." In awe, Sabrina hugs Mason and says very clearly that she will.
