Luke & I met at a Christmas party back in 2017 through some mutual friends. The night was nearing its end when I ended up landing a seat next to the most good-looking guy at this party. I was trying to contain my obvious attraction to this guy while everyone was focusing on the movie in front of us. Clearly, I thought he was kind of cute, so inevitably I may or may not have flirted with him, expecting "nothing" in return... I didn't think it was that obvious until I noticed that three of my friends had put me into a group chat insisting that they saw something there between us, to which I denied it! Well, they were right. The night went on and he might claim that I followed him around that evening. I can neither confirm nor deny that accusation. (; We ended up hitting it off and talking every day after that night until December 30th when he called to ask my dad to take me out on a date. Our first date was New Year's Eve, and the rest is history! Luke is my best friend and my answered prayer in every way. The Lord knew what he was doing in putting the two of us together. Here is to forever with my man.

It was December 10th. I had just jumped into a freezing pool in a Christmas onesie at a friends Christmas party. After changing I found myself looking for a seat on the couch and at the moment the only open seat was right next to this girl. Not knowing who she was, I took a seat and began talking to her. We were watching the last 5 minutes of Elf the movie, and when the credits were rolling, I turned on my charm. I used my dyslexic powers to mispronounce the names in credits. This was super easy for me because I just read it as it sounded. It felt like we were in our own little world just laughing up a storm. Then she proceeded to ask for my Snapchat, which I happily gave. For the rest of the night, we played a huge game of hide and go seek called sardines. During this long game Sabrina followed me around the entire night. She followed so close that she stepped on my feet enough that when I left, a big chunk of my big toenail broke off. Some may say she followed me because I was good-looking, funny, confident, willing to sing Justin Bieber at the top of my lungs. For the next three weeks, we talked all the time over the phone, and I knew I wanted to take this beautiful girl out. The next step was to ask her Dad. Before calling her dad I needed that confidence boost to hype myself up, so I listen to the rocky theme music to pump myself up. He said yes and on December 31st Sabrina and I went on our first date.
