LJ and Sabrina randomly met through a family member who was dating a friend of LJ's at the time. If you’d told Sabrina then that he’d be the one, she wouldn’t have believed you. According to Sabrina, she had no intention of dating LJ, but love, as it turns out, had other plans. What changed everything? The way LJ stepped into Sabrina's infant son’s life without hesitation, with a heart full of consistency and care. Sabrina likes to say when they were together, that LJ made her feel like she was the only woman in the world. She felt beautiful and safe. LJ says Sabrina instantly stole his heart with her loyalty and ability to make him laugh even on his not so easy days. There was surely something more than friendship brewing between the two. But here’s where their story takes a twist. LJ and Sabrina were married once before! Ok, Ok let me explain and give you the deets ! During an intimate small ceremony in May of 2008 at Sabrina's family church the two, young, madly in love twenty something year olds said "I Do" . However life, in all its messy beauty, life pulled them in different directions and in 2012 a divorce was inevitable. The decision did not come easy but the cards that were dealt for their marriage would require them to navigate an unknown number of years apart. Yet, 14 years later, love came knocking again. This time, they opened the door wide and invited a love that knew no end to come in and take control.
