WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get fancy with us! Dress code is formal but comfortable as we will be taking a small hike there.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, plus ones cannot be accommodated at this time. Therefore, we ask that our guests please do not bring a plus one unless they are listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start time. This will give us enough time to be right on schedule.

HOW DO I GET TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors at Emerald Bay State Park. The spot is adjacent to blue tourist mile marker number 53 on the highway 89. The spot is down a little trail about 100ft from the parking spot over a little bluff.

WHERE DO WE PARK?

Answer

There are about 10 parking spots so carpool is definitely recommended. The driver should be prepared to drop everyone off and circle the block or walk up from the adjacent parking.

HOW FAR IS LAKE TAHOE FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS?

Answer

South Lake Tahoe, CA is a 29 hour drive from Houston, Texas. However, there are direct flights to Reno, NV which is about a 6 hour flight and then a 1hr 15min drive to South Lake Tahoe, CA.

WHAT IS LAKE TAHOE, CA?

Answer

Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America. It straddles 2 states- Nevada and California. Lake Tahoe is one of the most pure bodies of water in the world with 99.994% of the water pure. (Commercially distilled water is 99.998% pure.) Approximately 2/3 of the shoreline of Lake Tahoe is in California. At its longest and widest point, Lake Tahoe measures 22 miles.

HOW CAN WE CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR HONEYMOON FUND?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our wedding expenses/honeymoon fund, we have a registry tab on our website!
