We were introduced to each other by Angela, Sabrina's cousin, who used to cut Jason's hair (I now cut his hair). We planned to meet up at North Italia, not realizing it was Valentine's Day weekend and that it would be very busy. We enjoyed our dinner, went up to the rooftop and talked and laughed for hours.
We had a date planned to go see Kane Brown in concert at the Houston Rodeo, but little did we know that it would be shut down due to the pandemic. We ended up having amazing vegan Mexican food from Veegos, going for a walk with Wedo and sharing our personal stories. We both agree this was the night we fell in love!
We planned to go camping (in the backyard) with the kids. After setting up the tent and the campfire, Joshua and Jaedyn went inside to change into their PJs. When they came back outside they each had a bouquet of flowers, I turned to Jason to see what was going on and he was down on one knee. I was in complete shock and so excited to say YES!
