Eyal and Sabrina's love story has its roots in so many prayers to find each other, and then one day in February day in 2023, they met at a random Red Robin in Cary, NC. Eyal knew he was in love first, and some say the whole restaurant knew before Sabrina realized it. He offered to train Sabrina on her first few shifts as a server, and she noted that suddenly those days working with him would make her more excited to clock in:) Sparks flew over shared tasks, and they began talking more and more. Fran would try to figure out if I was single and straight, and then Eyal would invite me to movie nights he was hosting for his friends. Another mentionable wingman was our beloved leopard gecko, Ozai, may he rest in peace. That little guy was the inspiration behind Eyal's first nickname from Sab "the gecko guy" which he wasn't too fond of, and one of the first things Eyal and Sab bonded over (their shared love of leopard geckos)! Ozai would sit on Sabrina's shoulder watching Pirates of the Caribbean with them, and they all quickly became best friends. They got to know each other more over the Summer, and started dating in November of 2023. They love walks in nature and traveling to fun cities (hello NYC!). Then August of 2025, during one of Sabrina's trips to see her friends in Wilmington, Eyal surprised her in the most picturesque gazebo, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife! They celebrated under twinkly lights and a cloudy sky with a couple of their best friends. Eyal and Sabrina just couldn't wait to be married! So they didn't! They had a civil ceremony on October 25th of 2025, and are so very excited to see all of our beautiful friends and family to celebrate us stepping into this new chapter of marriage!
