The wedding reception will be held in Thornton, Colorado, just north of Denver!
No, there will not be a ceremony. We wed in a private ceremony in March 2026. The reception in November is to celebrate with our extended family, friends and loved ones. We want everyone to enjoy themselves with good food, good music, and lots of dancing without too much wedding fluff!
We will be reserving hotel blocks for guests. While there aren't hotels in the immediate vicinity of the venue, Thornton is located close to downtown Denver, the Denver International Airport, and other suburbs that have hotel districts. We will reserve blocks at a couple hotels in these areas to provide options. However, please feel free to book your own accommodations if you prefer!
Yes! Invitations will automatically include any children under 18 for families with kiddos. Adult children over 18 that are on the guest list will receive their own invite. While we tried to remember everyone we could, it's possible we missed someone! If you aren't sure, please ask! We're happy to have some flexibility in our guest list, so we can accommodate some changes before we finalize the list.
Some invitees will receive a plus one for a guest. The invitation will indicate if you have one. Generally, we included plus ones for guests we know are in longer-term relationships.
Yes, we would recommend renting a car or taking local transportation/rideshares.
No, we did not register for any wedding gifts, as we want this occasion to be about our families coming together. We appreciate the gesture very much, but we want people to come and enjoy our celebration first and foremost. However, we will have a place to drop off cards if you'd like to wish us kind words!
Unfortunately, we are unable to request special accommodations for meals, as the meal will be served buffet-style. However, we will have a wide variety of salads, snacks, and entrees and are being thoughtful about how we can accommodate as many dietary requests as possible. We thank you for understanding.
We encourage everyone to dress their best and feel fancy! We ask guests to dress in cocktail/evening attire. Our colors will reflect the moodiness of late Fall in Colorado, so jewel tones, dark neutrals or black are great if you need some inspiration.
Yes! We will have NA beer options on hand, as well as coffee, tea, soda and fresh ice water. We will also have an open bar, so mocktails are available on order.
Although Denver has many great dispensaries to try (and we encourage you to visit one while you're here!), our wedding venue does not allow marijuana consumption on-sight.
