Ours is truly a modern day love story. We met on bumble two weeks after Sabrina moved to Vancouver. It was during Covid so our first date was a picnic at the beach where all we consumed was wine and mini donuts. From then on, we were pretty much inseparable! Connor taught Sabrina about EDM and skiing and Sabrina taught Connor how to be a good dog dad. We love going on adventures together, whether that's finding a cool new restaurant in the city or driving up to the top of a volcano at 4am to see the sunrise in Hawaii. We can't wait for all of the adventures yet to come! Up first, getting married surrounded by the people we love!

Sabrina was told we were going to Whistler to have a fun weekend with friends at one of their cabins. On the way up we needed to stop to have a call with Connor's parents who were in Italy at the time. They actually weren't even in on the proposal but this worked well as Connor needed a reason to stop at Porteau Cove. We had visited this beach early on in our relationship and many times since. After the call we took Dobby for a walk on the beach. We stopped at a beautiful spot and he popped the question! Our friend Zach was hiding on the beach and taking photos. Poor Dobby then had to go back to the city with Zach while his parents went on to Whistler for what was actually a very romantic engagement weekend. We went on Sabrina's first helicopter ride and it was incredible. We had a great dinner and ended up meeting up with some friends in the village to celebrate. We finished the weekend with a relaxing spa day! It was truly perfect. And in anticipation of the question that always gets asked.. Did she know? You'll have to ask Sabrina this because it's quite the story!
