We meet at Vacation Bible School in July of 2009. Cody's youth group had came to the Buffalo Church of God to host Bible School that year. We became friends over the week. When the youth group returned to Ohio after the week we continued to talk over the year but ended up losing contact with each other. In September of 2015 we started talking through text messages and every now and then a phone call. In November of 2015 we started dating. For our 2 year dating anniversary Cody popped the big question but that is a different story for you to read.

The weekend of November 17th Cody and his parents came in to town. Cody was in for our 2 year dating anniversary and his parents came with him to get some time away or so I was told. On Saturday we got up and got ready to go to the Buffalo Church of God hotdog and craft sale we were meeting Cody's parents there. We looked around and ate our hotdogs. Then Cody parents wanted to see the church that we meet at so we took them the sanctuary. When we got in there I wasn't paying attention and didn't see the flower petals on the floor at first. Then Cody took my hand and we walked down the aisle when we got to the front of the church he got down on one knee and told me he loved me and asked me to marry him.
