In 2016, Carlyle found himself repeatedly captivated by a stunning girl appearing in his childhood friend Serge's Snapchat stories. Intrigued, he persistently asked Serge about her identity. Serge, being very protective of Sabrina, hesitated at first. However, Carlyle's determination eventually won him over. Before sharing Sabrina's Snapchat, Serge made sure to get her permission first. He reached out to Sabrina, mentioning that a friend of his was interested in her. Curious, Sabrina asked to see a picture of this friend. Upon seeing Carlyle's photo, she responded, "Oh, he's handsome. Yes, you can share my Snapchat." With Serge's help, Sabrina and Carlyle connected and started video chatting on Skype occasionally. Despite their initial excitement, they both felt the other wasn't as interested, and their communication gradually faded. Fast forward to January 2019, Sabrina, who hadn't been on Snapchat in ages, noticed a post from Carlyle where he seemed a bit down. She reached out to him, and to her surprise, he responded. This rekindled their connection. Carlyle sent Sabrina flowers for Valentine's Day, and in March, he surprised her with a visit from New York to Michigan. They saw each other again in April when Sabrina visited her family in New York for spring break. Carlyle then flew to Michigan to celebrate her graduation in May, and it was then, on May 5th, 2019, that they made their relationship official. In June, Carlyle drove from New York to Michigan to help Sabrina move. They packed up a U-Haul and drove to Arkansas together, where they lived for three years before relocating to Texas, where they currently reside. After four years and seven months, Carlyle decided it was time to make Sabrina his wife.
