Our Love Story

Match, Meet, Marry

Sabrina: We started with a swipe, and now here we are with a ring. Our first date was an adventure—our waiter took two hours to get to us, and it was a monsoon outside. I remember thinking, "Is this a sign to make a run for it?" But the next date was no better—the waiter took over an hour again! We started joking about how we had terrible luck at restaurants. Fast forward a few months, just before I left to go back to school in New York, Alex asked me to be his girlfriend. We did long distance for a few years, and while it was tough, it made us stronger and more in love. I’m so thankful that God brought us together and helped us grow as a couple. Alex: It was a cold and stormy evening in the Atlantic Ocean that night, food was running scarce, but the stock pile of booze felt unlimited. As you looked out into the horizon you could see the storm coming right at you heading westward. I remember thinking to myself “Shiver me timbers!” The eye of the storm was coming! We didn’t have much time to make a decision that night. So we stayed at Pompono Beach House the Location of our first date, until the storm pasted us. The waiter took forever with the food, but kept bringing us drinks like that was the only thing on the menu. We sat there and laughed for hours, I must have done something good that night because look at us now…. Four years later and we are looking at colors for a wedding, and I can’t tell the difference between Charcoal Grey and Dark Grey.
