We first met at a college dance party our freshman year at University of Puget Sound, and a year later, fate stepped in when we were paired as mystery dates for a sorority formal. From that point on, we couldn’t seem to avoid each other—sharing the same group of friends, late-night laughs, and plenty of memories that kept us connected after college. A few years later, Memorial Day weekend 2021, Spencer invited Sabrina on a long weekend to the Washington Coast. Somewhere between the beach walks, bonfire conversations, and Spencer's first time on a horse, friendship turned into something more. Since then, life together has meant word jumbles over morning coffee, traveling and exploring new restaurants and cities, summers filled with lake and beach time (picnics, paddle boarding, and walking our puppy, Shirley), concerts together and with friends, and many cozy Lakers basketball nights. Four years after that first weekend together, Spencer brought things full circle by proposing with a custom word jumble (and ring!) on that same exact beach where our love story began on the Washington Coast.
