(As told by Sabrika) Our love story begins in April of 2017, when our mutual friend Marcus Cole asked me to help manage the football league he was the commissioner of. Bone was a very special player. Bone and I didn’t speak. He was extremely quiet. One day I made it my mission to get him to speak to me. I began to walk up to him and make smart remarks. The first thing I said to him was,”You have some nice hair for somebody so black.” He looked at me confused and said, “What?” and of course, I repeated myself. He looked at me, laughed and from there we would joke every Sunday. It wasn’t until October of 2017 where we would see each other differently. We went to Marcus and his wife Michelle gender reveal. While riding there with our friend Ashley, I continued to pull his hair and he made jokes as well. We walked in separately, Rayfield asked Bone, “Is that your girl?” Bone said, “if she was my girl you think she would be sitting over there?” My response was, “if I was your girl I would be sitting anywhere I want.” From that day on, I would call Bone as early as 7 in the morning. His exact words would be, “Sabrika, what the hell do you want.” We would talk for the next two weeks all day long. One day Bone came out and told me, “I’m ready whenever you are.”And since then we’ve been inseparable. On September 25, 2019, Bone and I welcomed Shia Odell Harris into our lives at 7:47 a.m. On that day our union became even stronger. We often spoke about the future and what we wanted for each other. On Christmas of 2020 at exactly 12:01 a.m, after putting Shia’s Christmas presents together, Bone ran downstairs, asked me to turn around and asked me to marry him. I without question said , “YES!!” It’s a joy that now our friends and family can celebrate our love and union with us. We may have to jump through extra hoops, but being together is worth it. I’m so happy that a sport we both love, gave us our, HAPPILY EVER HARRIS❤️
(As Told By Derrell) We’re together. The End
