Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry set up on this website. However we will happily accept gifts from wherever you are able to get them from. Like Walmart, Target, Amazon etc. We also will HAPPILY accept cash or gift cards. We have registry’s on Amazon and Walmart set up, you can find the information about how to access those on the registry tab here on the site.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 4:30. Please try and arrive 30 min to an hour early to find parking and seating.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Casual dress to formal dress. Just dress for possible weather changes being that it’s an outdoor late fall wedding. NO WHITE!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! But please try to have had them added to the RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome UNLESS they can not be kept seated and quiet and behaved. We ask that they be left at home for the ceremony.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms that can be reserved if needed for traveling guests. (See travel page)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes both the ceremony and reception are at the same venue parking is at the location and are in close proximity of the events. There is also handicapped parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner will take place Friday September 27th at 7pm. At the grooms parents house. 160 Eastview Dr. Urbana oh 43078

Will alcohol be available

Answer

There will be an open bar however if you are a heavy drinker please bring some of your own alcohol. If you want it for yourself please have your name put on it and let the bartender know this is only for you. We will also ask to please donate to the new couples honeymoon fund when getting drinks. There are no glass bottles of beer allowed only cans.

Are there any expectations from guests.

Answer

We will need some help removing chairs from the ceremony area and being placed back on the chair dolly’s. Please be respectful of the bride and groom and venue.

Seating arrangements

Answer

There are no assigned seats for the ceremony. However we are becoming one family and are going to assign seats at the reception so that both families can intermingle.

Is smoking of any kind allowed

Answer

All forms of smoking are allowed. However there will be designated areas for all smoking. This must and will be kept away from the barn/buildings. This includes vaping. If you are caught smoking not in the designated areas YOU WILL be asked to leave.
