We met through our mutual group of friends in college. I think it's safe to say we both knew of each other before we actually ever met. So once the day came that we ran into each other, that was it. I can remember seeing him sitting outside next to the Bell Tower & randomly running into him. I'm sure I was super nervous & awkward but that didn't matter (obviously). We spent more time around each other when we were with our friends. He finally asked me out on our first date on Valentine's Day! It was only about 8-9 months later, but it was well worth the wait.

Our summer trip this year was spent at Walt Disney World, our favorite vacation spot! It was just the two of us this time around & it sure was a trip to remember. We had spent the day at Hollywood Studios & then decided to go back to our hotel to rest for a bit before hitting up another park that evening. Later that evening, we went to Magic Kingdom because we had planned on watching the firework show that night. So we get to the park & we're walking around. He suggests that we go get a caricature done while we're here so we go check it out. They tell us there's a wait & to come back in 20 minutes to see the next available artist. We decide to walk around & see what we can get into to kill some time. Well 20 minutes had passed and we were about to enter into a show but he pulls us from the line & insists that we go back to see the artist. So we head back over & we take a seat. The artist "begins" to draw us & is asking us about our stay, etc. Literally it was like 5 minutes & he was done. So we get up & look at the picture to see him proposing to me. Then I look over at him & he's down on one knee! I'm bawling my eyes out because I can't believe it. Of course I said yes! This was literally the best day of my life & I'm so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.
