The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. and guests are welcome to arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour, buffet dinner (with open bar!), and dancing. We expect to be making our exit from the venue around 9:30-10:00 p.m.

Semi-formal. Our color scheme includes various spring floral colors like pink, yellow, orange, red and green.

Complimentary valet parking will be available at The Grove. There are also several paid parking garages in the area if you prefer to self-park.

There are a few hotels in downtown Houston that are within walking distance of the venue, if that is your preference. Some of them have limited to no availability on Friday night (April 11th) due to a conference at the convention center. We have discounted rates at the Four Seasons, which is two blocks away from the venue. The promo code is 250411SDW and can be applied during the booking process.

We love our friends' children, but due to space restrictions we will not be able to accommodate children outside of the family. We appreciate your understanding!

Gifts/Donations

Answer

We do not have a registry and are asking for no gifts please (monetary or otherwise). Your presence at the wedding is more than enough! If you feel inclined to give something extra, please consider making a donation to the Houston Food Bank. The Food Bank is close to our hearts (we first met there at a volunteer event in 2013!) and we would be grateful for any donations made in our honor.
