While the wedding will be at China Peak Resort in Lakeshore, the nearest major city is Fresno. If you're spending a few days days in Fresno before the wedding, you may want to check out these local attractions!
Yosemite National Park

Yosemite is a national treasure, and it's only about 2 hours from Fresno! If you've never been, now would be a great time!
Shaver Lake

Shaver Lake is about a 60 minute drive from Fresno, along Highway 168. It's only about 30 minutes from the wedding site at China Peak. In addition to the beautiful lake, the small town of Shaver Lake has restaurants & markets to offer. Camp sites, cabins, & Air B&Bs are available. If you're looking to spend some time in the mountains prior to the wedding, this would be a great option!
Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks

These two sister parks are only about 90 minutes from Fresno. Take a drive down the General's Highway to see the two largest trees (by volume) in the world.
