We met at Ft. Knox, KY in a summer training for ROTC. The Seattle boy and Texas gal hit it off, but unfortunately had to go our seperate ways back to college.

After reconnecting and a little convincing, I flew across the country from Houston, TX to Charleston, SC for our first date. "Hey if the date goes terribly... at least I get an awesome trip out of it". Little did I know I would get a husband.

What I thought was a weekend visit with close friends turned into much more. We planned to show them our favorite city and all of our top spots, but Dan had different plans. While strolling through battery park, Dan got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! After a few tears I said “YES” to the man of my dreams! We joined our families in facetime celebrations at the place of our first date ever- with lots of champagne, of course!

Where are we now? We have moved back to the great state of Texas, bought our first home and have the two pups, Mabel & Muprhy. We are so excited to celebrate with y'all!
