If you own South Asian attire, please wear it! Or, if you are interested in buying a cultural outfit for this event, please reach out to Sabira for suggested websites or stores. See below for general guidelines. Women: Please opt for a long dress and avoid wearing red or white. Men: Suits of any color (within reason, nothing too bright please!).
All food served at the event will be Halal, and there will be a variety of cuisines to choose from. As for drinks, there will be a drinks station with sodas, juices, and mocktails.
Please RSVP by Sunday, April 28th. There is a QR Code on the wedding invitations that will navigate you to the RSVP page, or you can access it through the following link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/sabiraandjustin/rsvp
Unfortunately, we have planned the event with a specific guest count in mind, and we are unable to accommodate additional guests at this time. We hope you can still attend and enjoy the event.
We are requesting cash gifts only to put towards our future home. No boxed gifts please.
The Nikkah is a religious ceremony for a Muslim couple to be legally wed under Islamic law, and is when the couple officially says “I accept.”
The Nikkah ceremony and mocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and the Reception will be held indoors. In case of rain, the entire event will be held indoors.
