Sabina and Brendan met in college at MCPHS in Boston back in 2007. The two were part of a close knit group of friends that developed in the beginning of freshman year and they remained close for the first few years of school. After their sophomore year, Brendan switched to the University of Rhode Island while Sabina remained at MCPHS. During that time, the two drifted apart and carried on with their lives, seeing each other only a few times in the next 4 years. Then, in 2015, Brendan and Sabina rekindled their friendship. After a few months, the two finally began dating, something their close friends had been waiting on for quite some time. They dated for 3 years, moved in with one another in 2018, and got engaged in 2019. The path to the Cahill-Wojtyna wedding had begun! After an exhaustive 2 month search for a venue, the two decided on the beautiful Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, MA and set a date for August 1, 2020. Their families and friends were so excited to hear the news and eagerly awaited the opportunity to celebrate with the couple on their special day. Amidst all of the commotion associated with planning a wedding, the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and the couple was forced to postpone their planned 2020 wedding to 2021. After some thoughtful consideration, the couple decided to wed in an intimate ceremony on July 3, 2020 with close family and friends in attendance, and a live video feed for those who could not be there in person. Afterward, the plan was made to celebrate with extended family and friends at a vow renewal ceremony and reception held on the couple's 1st anniversary, July 3, 2021! - Brendan (approved by Sabina)
