What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for guests is Semi-Formal attire. The ceremony is outside so we suggest bringing a warm outer layer. Reception will be indoors. Men: Slacks, button up, optional tie Ladies: Mid to long dresses. Please no white! *Please note there is a short walk on a dirt path from the venue to the ceremony site.*

Where is the venue?

Answer

Wild Basin Lodge is in Allenspark, CO. It is off the Peak to Peak highway and is at 8,083 ft in elevation. Please plan accordingly and stay hydrated! If possible, give yourself a day or two to acclimate to Colorado's elevation before the wedding.

When should I book my hotel room?

Answer

If you are booking through our room block, the last day to book is Tuesday, September 22nd. The hotel is in Longmont - see "Travel" page for details on how to book. We suggest booking sooner than later!

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes - there is plenty of parking on site at Wild Basin Lodge, where both the ceremony and reception will be held. Cars may be left overnight if picked up by 10am the following day.

Will there be transport to the venue?

Answer

We are working on organizing a shuttle to and from the hotel for the day of the wedding. Check back later for more details!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:00pm for the ceremony. You will be directed to the meadow to find your seats.
