What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. Please refrain from wearing jeans and t-shirts. Dress shirts, pants, and ties for gentlemen and dresses, jumpsuits, or pantsuits for ladies. Also, in the interest of your own safety and comfort, please consider wearing flat shoes to the venue as we will be in grass and heels will likely sink!

Are there any colors I should avoid? Ones that I should consider?

Answer

This should go without saying- but please do NOT wear white. If you choose to do so anyway, you will be asked to leave and change before returning. Additionally, the bridal party will be wearing emerald green with silver accents. Refrain from wearing these colors if you don't want to clash with the party. Otherwise, please wear whatever color makes you feel comfortable.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Think of it as a chance for a date night out on us! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

If you are receiving a plus one, it will be indicated both on your invitation and when you RSVP on the website. Our venue is small and we have intentionally chosen every guest who we wish to have join us. For this reason, we could not give everyone a plus one.

Can I take my own photos?

Answer

We ask that the ceremony be 100% unplugged. We have chosen (and paid for) our photographer with care, and she is WONDERFUL— so please let her do the work! When it comes time for the reception, though, feel free to take as many photos as you want! When posting on social media, please use the hashtag #SabertheMoment
