Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal / Black Tie Optional. We ask that men wear a suit and tie (or tux, only if you prefer). Women wear a floor length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit. Part of our wedding will be on grass, so please keep that in mind when deciding on footwear!

Is there a dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Smart Casual or Elevated Casual Attire. For men this includes polos, button downs, slacks or pants. For women, sundresses, skirts, blouses, casual dresses, slacks or pants.

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to our venue, we ask that you make arrangements for childcare during the wedding and reception. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Sea Palms Resort! Please check the 'travel' tab for specific details. Note, our hotel block will be available to book until February 26, 2025.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to and from our wedding so everyone can enjoy the day! If you absolutely must drive, please let us know.

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will all be at one venue, Forbes Farm, so there is no driving necessary in between!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will provide transportation from Sea Palms Resort to and from our wedding. Trolley will pickup at 3:40 PM. There is limited parking at the wedding venue so if you do have to drive, please let us know. There are Ubers/Lyfts on the island, however they are very limited, so please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside - don't worry, there will be shade! We will move inside for dinner and dancing.
