We're getting married!

We met the old fashioned way - through a mutual friend! My former roommate had a friend who told me I should meet her friend Anthony. After showing me his picture, I most definitely agreed. She helped us swap phone numbers and before I knew it, we were texting back and forth for days. Because of COVID, he wasn't able to get a reservation at a restaurant. He asked me if I would be OK coming to his house for dinner. I weighed the chances of going to stranger's house, but considering we had a mutual friend and the fact that he was a cop, I figured it was safe enough. I'm glad I took that chance :) One week later, I met his friends. Another week later, I met his family. One month in, on February 14, 2021, he asked me to be his girlfriend. And now, on June 14, 2024, we're getting married! I'm just realizing that the number 14 is pretty special for us :)
