What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

This will be a traditional Indian/Pakistani wedding. With that being said, please feel free to dress in either Indo-Paki, Western, or other cultural wear. Keep in mind, all events are formal attire.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Unfortunately, the weather in Chicago is unpredictable. Currently, the weather forecast shows partly sunny and 40-50 degrees. This is subject to change, therefore please bring coats and warm clothes to wear.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but all our wedding events are taking place in the same venue. There is a valet parking for those who are driving, and Uber/Lyft is a great option for those who are not. SpotHero is also a great option to park for lower prices.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Children 6 years of age and under are welcome. However due to the capacity limitation of our venue, other family members over 6 years of age would need a formal invitation.

Downtown Chicago has exquisite hotels within a mile of the venue: LondonHouse, Swissotel, Intercontinental, Chicago Marriott Downtown, Hilton Garden Inn.

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Answer

We humbly request only a cash gift. You can use the registry on this website to contribute to our honeymoon fund or bring it with you to the wedding event.

What COVID health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

Getting married in the midst of a global pandemic means that everyone’s health and safety is a top priority for us. Depending on the situation at the time of the wedding, we may ask our guests to either show proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test. As we get closer to the date, we will be able to provide more details.
