Question
What time should I arrive at the venue?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 4 pm in the Portside Room of the St. James Hotel. We kindly ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes beforehand to allow for time to find your seat. Any guests with mobility concerns can be dropped off directly at the St. James Hotel entrance, and will have access to elevators if stairs are unaccessible. Otherwise, guests can park in the attached complementary parking ramp using the entrance on Bush Street.

What should you wear?
Answer
The attire for our wedding will be Formal and our wedding colors are black, gold, and darker forest green. We kindly ask that you dress appropriately and leave your jeans at home ;)

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our entire wedding will be indoors at the St. James Hotel (406 Main St, Red Wing, MN 55066) Our ceremony and reception will be taking place in the Portside Room, and our cocktail hour will be in Jimmy's Pub and the adjacent Oak Room.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We understand wanting to take pictures of such a happy time, but we kindly ask that photographs are ONLY taken by the professionals we hired during the ceremony. Feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like during the cocktail hour and reception. Any pictures you take can be uploaded to our website ??? Thank you for understanding and respecting our decision!

Can you bring a plus one?
Answer
Unless otherwise specified on your invite, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We kindly ask for ONLY those who have been formally invited be in attendance at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us to celebrate our special day! Thank you for respecting our decision!

Due to our limited guests list, we have respectfully chosen NOT to have kids at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us to celebrate our special day! Thank you for respecting our decision!

Answer
Yes, details of available liquor options will be listed at the reception.

Is smoking allowed?
Answer
In order to protect the historic integrity of the St. James Hotel, there is absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed in the premises. Guests who would like to smoke or vape after our wedding will need to exit the building to do so, so please choose your outdoor attire accordingly. Please know that all exits become locked later in the evening per St. James Hotel policy, so the only point of entrance will be through the hotel's lobby for the remainder of the wedding.

Answer
There will be a section on your RSVP to let us know of this information. If you have already sent in your RSVP and did not indicate this information, please reach out to the bride or groom to let us know ASAP!
