Question

COVID SAFETY- WHAT IS YOUR VACCINE POLICY?

Answer

Due to the ongoing pandemic and to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we are requiring that all guests who attend our wedding be fully vaccinated. This means two weeks after you have received the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks after you have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. We so appreciate your understanding!

Question

COVID SAFETY- WHAT IS YOUR MASK POLICY?

Answer

Event guidelines will be based on current NY State Guidance at the time of the event. We are happy to announce that as of June 15th there are no longer restrictions on events of our size! Please keep in mind that masks will not be required under current guidelines because everyone who attends the wedding will be fully vaccinated.

Question

WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be at The Wainwright House! Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the front lawn, and our reception will be in a tent. If we need to make changes to our ceremony and cocktail hour due to the weather, our ceremony will be inside the tent and our cocktail hour will be inside The Wainwright House. The After Party will be inside The Wainwright House.

Question

WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED ATTIRE?

Answer

Cocktail Attire! Note to the ladies: As the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on a lawn, we suggest wearing thicker heels or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass in heels!

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We will not be inviting any young children to our wedding. Thanks for understanding!

Question

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:15 pm in order to avoid delaying (or missing) the ceremony!

Question

HOW DO I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP using the RSVP tab on this website. The online RSVP function is based on the guest names exactly as they appear on the wedding invitation. If you're unable to access your RSVP, please send us an email at rlhkaplan@gmail.com or call us! Note that the RSVP portion of the website will not be visible until formal invitations are sent out.

Question

WHAT TIME IS THE RECEPTION SCHEDULED TO END?

Answer

9:00 pm is the scheduled end to the reception - although we are throwing an After Party inside The Wainwright House for those who want to keep the party going. Please see the schedule tab for more information on what to expect!

Question

CAN I POST PHOTOS OF YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

Yes! And we want to see ALL the photos! But please don't take photos during our ceremony, as we are asking that this special time is a policy of "no cell phones" .

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We love and appreciate all of our guests' loved ones, however, our venue's capacity is limited. If your invitation does not say "and guest", please don't bring one.
