Anna and Ryne met on a warm summer evening at Flannagan's in Dublin while playing sand volleyball against each other. Ryne and his teammate asked her and some of her friends to stay for drinks afterward. Even though Ryne sat across the table from Anna, he knew she was the one he wanted to get to know better. He later messaged her on Facebook, asking her to join his next volleyball league with him. They began spending more time talking outside of volleyball, and eventually, he asked her out on their first "official" date. Their first date was at Condado because their now-favorite, Local Cantina, was closed for Labor Day. They quickly realized that they shared many similar interests: a love for animals, physical activities (volleyball, weightlifting, pickleball, etc.), traveling, and hiking. Anna impressed Ryne with her sense of humor by recommending him to watch "I Think You Should Leave," which became one of their favorite series. They have grown their little family with the addition of their adorable dog Gabi, along with their two cats, Artie and Ziggy. They have already traveled to many places together: Puerto Rico, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Zion, and Traverse City, to name a few of their favorites. They can't wait to see many more places together!
