In the summer of 2015, Lexi reluctantly joined her friend's sand volleyball team. It's there at Volleys that she was introduced to a cute teammate named Ryne. They instantly hit it off, with people even commenting that they acted like an old married couple. The instant chemistry soon grew into something more serious after Lexi asked Ryne to come over to help her hang something at her house. They have been together every day since.
