FAQs

In case you were wondering....
Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Thank you for asking! Since this is a destination wedding and it will cost a significant amount of money for you to attend, we are asking only for the gift of your presence. We do have an active registry for anyone who has asked. Please see the “Registry” page on this website.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The invitations request an RSVP by 3/28, this is the absolute latest you can RSVP. If you can RSVP by 3/5, that would be very helpful! You can submit your response on the RSVP tab on this website or by texting Ryan or Ashley to let us know.

Question

What day will you arrive on the island?

Answer

We will arrive on Tuesday, April 23rd. We will have several things to do to prepare for the wedding beforehand, but would love to spend time with our guests who are arriving early if/when time allows.

Question

What day will you leave the island?

Answer

We are leaving the island on Friday, May 3rd. However, since we are lucky enough to be having a destination wedding, we will also be considering the days spent on the island after the wedding our honeymoon. We appreciate our friends and family respecting our privacy during this time.

Question

What airport should I fly in to?

Answer

OGG - Kahului Airport

Question

Will transportation from the airport to my hotel/house be provided?

Answer

Since all of our guests will be coming in at different times/staying in different areas, there will not be transportation provided to and from the airport.

Question

Where are you staying?

Answer

We are staying in a private cottage in Kihei.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend booking through Air BNB or VRBO because it is much less expensive than booking through a hotel. In order to be within a reasonable distance from the venue, we suggest staying in the Kihei, Wailea, or Makena areas.

Question

Will transportation to the wedding venue be provided?

Answer

Since our guests will be staying in different areas of the island, we will not be providing transportation to the wedding venue. All transportation to the wedding venue will need to be arranged by the guests.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Hawaiian Formal - aka pretty casual/whatever you are comfortable in! Women - sundress, linen pants, causal cocktail attire Men - slacks/khaki/linen pants, button down shirt, casual cocktail attire No jeans or t-shirts, please!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please text Ryan or Ashley to let us know.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are doing a group excursion on Friday, April 26th. We will be touring the Ocean Vodka distillery. The cost is $27 per person and includes lunch & a tasting. Time is TBD. Please use the RSVP tab on this website or text Ryan or Ashley to RSVP for this event.
