We first saw each other in chemistry class our junior year of high school. Our senior year of high school we officially met through mutual friends.

Prior to arriving in Italy, Josh asked his sister, Lily, if she would suggest the idea of a photo shoot on our balcony in Pogerola (a small, quiet town along the Amalfi coast). On the day of the proposal, the coastal views were a bit clouded and there was a light rain, but Josh decided to continue with the plan. As discussed the night before, Lily stepped away for a brief moment to "grab her phone". With Lily out of sight, Josh got down on one knee and asked Rylie if she would spend the rest of her life with him, to which she replied, “Of course!”
