Rylie and Brandon met during their senior year of high school. One day after volleyball practice, Rylie worked up the courage to head upstairs to the weight room, where the boys had been to invite Brandon and the team to the volleyball game the next day. Brandon was a man of his word and showed up to support Rylie and her girls with the football team. From that moment forward, Rylie knew he was a keeper. Since then, the two have been inseparable, growing up side by side and taking on every stage of life together.

For their anniversary, Brandon and Rylie celebrated with a trip to Punta Cana. They spent their days by the pool playing Uno, snorkeling, soaking up the sun, and making memories together. One evening after dinner, they wandered through the resort taking Polaroids and enjoying the warm night air. As Rylie was taking a video of the glowing palm trees and sparkling water, Brandon got down on one knee holding a ring. Completely shocked, Rylie said yes. It was the easiest and most certain decision of her life. October has always been special to them.
