Dress Code

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal black attire. We kindly ask that all guests wear the color black to match the elegant theme of the day. Per Sacred Heart Church guidelines, some styles are more appropriate for evening wear than they are for a sacred event held in a holy place. All wedding attire should be modest. Low necklines and high slits are not in keeping with appropriate guidelines for a religious service.

Ceremony Information

Our ceremony will be held at The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus at 2:30 PM. The address is 711 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919. Some of our guests may not be familiar with our Catholic tradition of gathering in silence upon entering the church. All guests should be instructed that the Church is a sacred place and that conversations should be kept to a minimum while inside the cathedral.

Our reception will be held at The Phoenix Room located at 5448 Homberg Drive Knoxville, TN 37919.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate a plus one for all of our guests. Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Will there be a transfer to the reception?

Answer

While there is no transfer from the ceremony to the reception, however the reception location has parking on-site.
