We are Getting Married!

In early March of 2020, Covid-19 was starting to become known across the world. No one really had any idea the impact it would have. We were unsure of the timeline of this pandemic and we were unaware of what that would mean for our wedding. In July of 2020, it was apparent that the world was in no way ready for large gatherings to take place. We decided that in order to keep our loved ones safe, we needed to postpone our wedding. As hard as that was for us, we knew that we made the right decision. One of the most important things to us was to celebrate our big day with our family and friends. We thank you all for bearing with us during this difficult time. We hope to see you all on August 28th, 2021, as we become Mr. and Mrs. Conlon.

Ryleigh worked at the gym at Plymouth State University with one of Brandon's good friends. Ryleigh worked the morning shift with Brandon's friend and they became close friends. One morning Ryleigh was told about this friend that he had that was wondering about the girl he worked with at the gym. Her response was "No thanks" and didn't think about it much after that. Brandon continued to come into the gym and not say a word to Ryleigh. It wasn't until a little while later where at Ryleigh's 21st birthday, Brandon approached her at the bar that he worked at as a bouncer. Ryleigh wasn't really getting the hint, so they went their separate ways. A month later, Ryleigh and her best friend Claudia went to karaoke night at the bar. Brandon happened to be working that night. Maybe it was the lighting or maybe it was the alcohol, but Ryleigh finally decided to make a move. She got Brandon's snapchat from Claudia and spent the rest of the night sending him pictures of himself from a snapchat user he didn't know. After making the connection, they locked eyes the rest of the night. The first time Ryleigh and Brandon got together in person, she brought a bag of Hot Cheetos to his apartment and played with his dog, Nala. They watched a movie on the couch and talked for a while. Eventually Brandon put Ryleigh in a head lock...not sure why. From that point on, Ryleigh knew that Brandon was the one. They've been inseparable ever since.

Brandon is such a hard worker. On Valentine's day of 2019 Brandon and Ryleigh were both working, unable to celebrate the romantic day. That's life. Brandon decided to surprise Ryleigh with a nice brunch at a place unknown to her on February 17th, 2019. Little did she know, Brandon had a ring in his pocket the whole time. After two hours of driving, Brandon pulled into Castle in the Clouds. It was a beautiful sunny day that was warm enough to where some of the snow started melting. Ryleigh was excited because the views at this place were suppose to be amazing. Before walking upstairs for brunch, Brandon suggested going out onto the lookout to see the beautiful views. It was beautiful. Ryleigh thought it was strange to see that there was no one else on the balcony, but figured everyone was just enjoying their food. Ryleigh had a quarter with her and Brandon encouraged her to use it on one of the lookout binoculars. She did. While Ryleigh was doing that, Brandon got down on one knee, trying not to slip on the ice, and asked for Ryleigh's hand in marriage. With lots of tears, she accepted. As Ryleigh looked behind her she saw her family and Brandon's family sitting up in the castle watching the whole thing. It was one of the most memorable times in both of their lives.
