Taran and Rylee first crossed paths through mutual friends in Prineville—Taran’s hometown and the place Rylee chose to finish school. Looking back, they both believe God had been weaving their story together long before that day. Taran had just topped out as a journeyman lineman and taken a month off from work. From the moment they met, the two became inseparable. That first month was spent renovating Taran’s duplex, horn hunting, and introducing each other to their families. When work called him to McMinnville, Taran made the drive home every weekend—proof that something special was already growing. Not long after, they put a deposit down on a puppy, and in June they brought home Ty. Rylee moved into the duplex, and one month later they packed up and headed to the tiny town of Monument (population ~100), starting new jobs and building a life together. There, they launched a bed lining business, traveled to Redmond every weekend after work, and continued dreaming about the future. In May, Taran asked Rylee to be his wife, and she said yes! A month later, they hit the road in a 5th wheel, spending a week in California before settling in Grants Pass. Life on the road deepened their love for adventure and for each other. In December 2025, they put in an offer on a home in Prineville—where their story first began—and the offer was accepted. Their journey is one of timing, faith, adventure, and love—and they are grateful to God for guiding every step.
