In October 2023, Steven surprised Rylee with a weekend getaway in Tahoe to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. He took her to the Fordyce Lake trail and planned to ask her in the meadow. On their way there, the roads were icy, they lost traction and almost slid off the road! Once they were safe and stopped, Rylee jumped out of the car and ran into the meadow totally freaking out. Steven hurriedly followed her with the ring in his hand, and as soon as she turned around, on the verge of panic tears, she saw the ring and started laughing. Panic turned to relief, happiness and joy in an instant. ❤️
