Rylee and LaRandall met at a rooftop in Dallas, Texas by accident. LaRandall was joining his friends to watch sports and Rylee was meeting her girlfriends for the day. LaRandall introduced himself as "L.A." and in true Rylee fashion she responded with a corny joke. "Are you from Los Angeles?" They spent the rest of the night talking and playing games. Rylee shared her love for cooking and challenged LaRandall to a cook off. After this night LaRandall would send recipes to Rylee through instagram reels in hopes that he could ask her on a date. Fast forward and Rylee says that she knew LaRandall was going to be her husband after seeing his intentionality and thoughtfulness, his heart of giving, and his gentle and humble nature. It did not take her long to recognize the kind of man LaRandall is. She says to this day she knew after the first date. LaRandall said that the first night he met her he told his best friend James, "If her inside is as beautiful as she is I am going to marry her." LaRandall says his favorite things about Rylee are her service to others, her ability to make everyone feel seen, and that she is the sweetest person he has ever met. With many journal entries of prayer to God for their future spouse, they know that this union has come from many answered prayers. They are excited to join together in a covenant of marriage led by the Lord. They believe and pray that their marriage and love for each other is a representation of how the Lord loves us.
