Take a look at the Schedule page for details. We are hosting a Friday evening casual, drop by Welcome Party. We'd love to have you stop by! This is a casual, drop-by welcome event to say hello to everyone before the big day!

Are the Friday activities and Saturday activities at different locations?

Answer

YES!! Do not get confused because they are both breweries and the names start similarly. The Friday Welcome Party is at Hi Wire Biltmore Village. Saturday wedding and reception are at Highland Brewing Company.

Is there parking for the Friday Welcome Party?

Answer

There is parking on site at Hi Wire but not a ton. We strongly suggest carpooling or taking an Uber/Lyft. Hi Wire's neighboring businesses DO NOT allow parking. Parking map on this page: https://hiwirebrewing.com/biltmore-village/

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Friday Welcome Party is totally casual: jeans, shorts, sundresses, whatever! The Wedding and Reception are cocktail attire.

Can I get an Uber/Lyft to the Welcome Party or Wedding Venue?

Answer

As long as you are staying in/close to town, you should not have any problem getting an Uber to/from your lodging accommodations to Hi Wire Brewing (Welcome Party) or to Highland Brewing (Wedding). If you are staying a bit further out of town, text us to have our weigh in on if you'd be able to catch an Uber/Lyft. We encourage you to consider ride sharing to not have to mess with parking. Plus, it's important to us that everyone drink responsibly and not drink and drive.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Parking is available outside the venue. Right when you come up the hill to Highland Brewing's campus, make a sharp left turn to utilize that parking area which is closest to our venue entrance. Highland Brewing is incredibly popular in the summertime so please arrive in time to find parking and grab your seat! Or, you can always grab an Uber/Lyft!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30PM. Please arrive in time to be parked and seated by 5:15PM.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

We wanted some of the mountain vibe so despite getting married in July...we are having the ceremony on Highland Brewing's rooftop. Guests will be seated under sun shades and we'll have paper fans for you. Cocktail hour will also take place on the rooftop. The reception will be inside (and air conditioned) downstairs.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Go to the Travel page here on our website for hotel blocks and suggestions. If you want us to weigh in on where you are considering stay, feel free to reach out to one of us! There's tons of options so just depends what vibe you're going for.

Are you having a bridal party?

Answer

We decided not to do a formal bridal party. Our officiant is Rogers Masson, a dear friend of ours. Yes, Rusty (our dog) will be attending the ceremony.

Who will be attending?

Answer

We are really excited to have all of Rylee's immediate family + Kevin's immediate family and all of his maternal extended family and first cousins with us (just missing Grandma!)! Kevin's family will be traveling from as far as Kyrgyzstan, El Salvador, Oregon, Washington, California, and Utah and we're so honored to have everyone with us. Beyond that, we have a ton of our local friends and a strong cohort of Alabama friends coming. So excited for all of our worlds to collide!
