Join us for a joyful wedding reception honoring the marriage of Rylee & James Woodside. Enjoy an evening of good food, dancing, laughter, and love as we CELEBRATE this newly married couple
James was putting toppings away, and Rylee was restocking… or at least pretending to. Her station was already full, but she kept walking back into the kitchen. She was hoping he’d say something, maybe start a conversation. He didn’t... but eventually, the moment came. Not long after, Rylee came into work with her grandma, still in her scrubs. That was all it took for James to send her a message on Instagram, asking if she was a nurse. She told him "no just a dental assistant" but that one message turned into a real conversation. One turned into many, and after about a week of talking, James asked Rylee out on their first date: bowling. After that, things started to unfold quickly and naturally. Their second date was church. From there, they began staying up late talking on the phone about everything. Childhood memories. Life experiences. Their outlooks on faith, love, and what truly matters. They connected on a level that felt both easy and deep, like they had known each other longer than they had. By their third or fourth date, James had taken Rylee to the beach. They went horseback riding and rode mopeds, played endless rounds of Uno, and just had fun together. One of their favorite memories from those early days was grabbing sandwiches and heading to the park to eat by chance, Rylee’s old high school softball team was practicing nearby. Afterward, they wandered through Cabela’s, laughing and enjoying each other’s company without needing much more than that. Then came the day James asked Rylee to be his girlfriend it was her last day working at MOD. She made them a pizza to share in the park like a little picnic. Days earlier, they had joked about Burger King crowns… and James surprised her by bringing one for her to wear. After they ate, he took her to Steamboat Island, where they rode skateboards and scooters over the water. What started with a few shy glances in the kitchen turned into something real full of late night talks, shared dreams, laughter, faith, and a spark that never stopped growing. And eventually, that spark led to a quiet moment at Tugboat Annie’s, one of their favorite places together. That’s where James got down on one knee and asked Rylee to spend forever with him. Now, we’re inviting you to celebrate the next chapter of this story the one we’ve been writing together ever since.
