Hello family and friends! Most of you know our story by now, but for those of you who don’t—or who would love to hear it again—we’re so excited to share it. Jack and I both started college at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, in the fall of 2021. On a random day at the beginning of our freshman year, we each decided it was the perfect day to eat at The Habit (Rylee’s favorite). Jack was there with his boys, and I was there with my girls, sitting at separate tables. Jack could barely eat because he was so nervous. He spent the whole time debating whether he should come up and talk to me. He says, “God wasn’t letting me leave until I did.” Meanwhile, I remember thinking, “This boy must do this all the time.” But now that I truly know Jack, I can confidently say that was definitely not the case. He asked for my social media, and we stayed connected for about a year—until I finally came to my senses. We started spending time together with our friends and slowly got to know each other more and more. That summer, Jack and his boys came to visit me and my friend Hannah in Fresno. While he was there, he asked me to be his girlfriend—and since then, we’ve been inseparable. After three and a half years of college, long-distance summers, and moving to Phoenix, Jack asked me to marry him on November 14th with the most beautiful lakeside proposal. We are beyond excited to be getting married and to see all that the Lord has planned for the rest of our lives. He is so faithful, and we feel incredibly blessed to share the love that we do. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all on September 25th! Love, The future Coles “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9
