We’re getting married!

We met 9 years ago through mutual friends and instantly became best friends. We always joked with eachother about marriage, like saving each other’s names in our phones as “the wife” or “the husband”. Never did we think that just 4 years later we would move in together and actually get married!

The day of the proposal, I was at the Grand Theater with my mom and sister seeing our yearly show, Thriller. When the show ended, I decided to stop at the Cobblery and look for a new pair of shoes. Daniel called me and said he was at Oak Island and caught a huge fish, and I’ll “never believe the size of it”. Of course I continued my shoe shopping, but he insisted that I needed to come see this fish. When I showed up, he was sitting on a bench, not dressed in a Columbia t-shirt. That was a dead giveaway! He took me across the bridge to fern island, where he had the prettiest set up with so many lights and flowers. That was such a special day, and we are so excited to share this special day with the ones we love most. See you in October!
