The ceremony is expected to start at 4pm. However, we highly encourage that all guests plan to arrive at 3:30pm to allow everyone to find parking and a seat. This also allows for any personal or traffic delays that may occur.
We don't ask that you go out to purchase new clothes! Just give us your Sunday best! The ceremony will be outdoors on grass so we recommend that you choose shoes accordingly to allow you to be as comfortable as possible. All colors are welcome except white! If you wish to match colors, lean towards sage greens and rusty orange/reds!
Great question! The goal of our wedding is to be intimate and personal. We want to see familiar faces of the people we know and love. Each invitation will include the people invited (for example, the invitation would be addressed to Jane Doe and John Doe, or Jane Doe and Significant Other). This will include family members, spouses, etc. This is specifically for personal reasons but also because our space and seating is limited, we want to assure our family and close friends are offered first. We greatly appreciate your understanding!
The short answer is no. We do not have any plans to serve alcohol at the wedding for both personal and safety reasons. This does NOT mean to B.Y.O.B! Please do not bring alcohol onto the premises of the wedding venue as alcohol must be approved with the owner first. We believe we can all have an amazing night filled with fun without alcohol being involved. There will be NON-alcoholic drinks served (sweet tea, coke products, water, etc.) for your convenience!
In order to follow Chickamauga noise ordinance, all music and loud noise must come to a halt by 11pm. To allow everyone time to pack up and head home, the reception will come to an end by no later than 10pm.
Technically, no. However, to be sure that enough seating, food, and drink is provided, we highly recommend sending an RSVP if possible.
