Ryan and Kylie found each other in 2017 while they were students at Cal Poly and lived just down the street from one another in San Luis Obispo, CA. They fell fast and their love for each other quickly grew. Once they both graduated, they moved a few hours north to Campbell, CA where Ryan grew up and where his family still lives. Since then, they’ve started professional careers, traveled abroad together, and moved into a home of their own. They’ve loved cultivating their own community of friends across the Bay Area and also love visiting Kylie’s family in Wilsonville, OR as often as they can. In their spare time, they enjoy working together on home-improvement projects, biking, snowboarding, gardening, cooking, and playing with their adorable puppy, Koda. After six amazing years together, Ryan proposed to Kylie while they were in Paso Robles to celebrate their anniversary. One year later, they’ll be married in San Luis Obispo, the place they first met and where they fell in love.

When they lived down the street from each other in San Luis Obispo, they were introduced through their mutual friend, Allie. During their very first interaction, Ryan and Kylie bonded over their obsession with romantic drama through watching ABC's The Bachelor. Since Ryan’s house didn’t have cable, he made it a point to come by Kylie’s house often (1) to see new episodes air and (2) more likely as a clever excuse to spend more time together. After realizing they shared so many more things in common, they grew closer and began officially dating on April 26th of 2017. They still absolutely love watching The Bachelor together and have even made it a tradition to host local family and friends for dinner and “Bach Night” viewing every week.
