Bridesmaid
Madi and I have been inseparable since we met running track and cross country in at Idaho State nearly seven years ago. From breaking the school record in the DMR together (in our hearts), to navigating life’s highs and lows, she’s been my constant and my rock. Madi is one of the most driven, selfless, and tenacious people I know, and I couldn’t be more excited to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life!

I met Madi our senior year of high school at a random post season track race. Madi and I soon became roommates at Idaho State University. We ran together on ISUs cross country and track team for 4 years. Two memories of many I have with Madi was during our Freshman year of college COVID 19 sent the athletic department home. We held a “virtual prom” that spring and all wore our prom dresses. The second memory I have with Madi was when she stayed up all night knowing we had practice the next morning at 6 am to help me study for a biology exam (that I needed to pass to pass the class). Madi soon realized that this was an impossible task and purposely sat 2 seats away from me in biology class so that we’d have the same exam and she stayed on each page long enough for me to “check my answers”. Long story short I passed the class, all thanks to Madi 😉 I could go on about all the times Madi had made me laugh until I peed by pants but I’ll save that for Madi and I. Love you Mad Dawg!

Thinking back on the six years I’ve known Madi, I can’t pick just one favorite memory—because the truth is, she’s part of almost all of them. People often mistake us for sisters, and honestly, it makes sense. Over the years, we’ve become more like sisters than friends. Madi will be my long lost twin for life. I’m beyond proud that Madi has found her person. I pray for a lifetime of love for the beautiful couple.

I met Madi while she was dressed as Adam Sandler — which pretty much set the tone for our friendship: unpredictable, hilarious, and a little chaotic in the best way. We first bonded over the shared trauma of cross country and track workouts, and from there, our friendship only got more intense (and a little more dangerous). I’m not afraid to go out in public dressed as Barack Obama anymore, thanks to Madi — and I’m always ready for the spontaneous journeys we somehow find ourselves on. From almost dying on a random attempt to climb and sleep on top of Weaver’s Needle, to answering her late-night calls that usually lead to wild adventures (like 1 a.m. sledding), Madi has brought excitement, loyalty, and an unmatched kind of love into my life. She’s not afraid to get out on the dance floor and swing dance her heart out. Since the day we met, Madi has been by my side through the highest highs and the lowest lows. And of course, she’s been the best wing woman anyone could ask for. Madi is the kind of friend who turns every moment into a story worth telling. She’s my favorite “if you do it, I’ll do it.” I’m beyond lucky to call Madi my send-it buddy — and I’m incredibly thankful to God that she’s found her soulmate. Watching her glow with happiness and love has been one of the greatest gifts. May Madi and Daniel’s love always reflect God’s goodness, grace, and joy — today and every day ahead.

Madi’s been my best friend since we were kids, we first met in middle school cross country and from there the friendship just blossomed beautifully 💛

Madi Kenyon! I actually met Madi in 2020 on my second date with my husband, who ran cross country with her at ISU. We instantly connected and have shared so many great memories since. Madi is everything you need in a friend. She is genuine, fun, and just refreshing to be around. I wouldn’t trade our friendship for anything. Her caring heart and infectious energy always makes people feel loved and welcomed. I am so happy she’s found Daniel. He’s thoughtful, respectful, and truly adores her. They complement each other so well and it’s easy to see how strong their love is. Cheers to a forever love!!
Best Man
Daniel and I knew each other for about a year before becoming friends! Once friends we did everything together. Anything from going to the beach, hiking, gym, riding quads, or just playing video games! I’ve always loved this picture because it’s represented something more than just us goofing around! It has always been a reminder of how Daniel has my back and that I have his. It has even been a symbol to me of brothers in the gospel and how we both hold each other accountable!

Me and Daniel have been best friends since birth. We have done almost everything together growing up till he moved. One story I can distinctly remember is our time in Daniel's treehouse and we almost burnt his parents house down. We were throwing paper airplanes off the treehouse after lighting them on fire with matches. We also went hunting for small rabbits for his snakes to feed them and got yelled at by his neighbors a lot.

Some of my favorite memories with Dan Man have been in the gym and gaming with him and Jason. But I find some of the funniest times is when we will call each other and sometimes not answer, we will leave these hilarious voicemails on each other's phones. It normally sounds like a high-pitched woman’s voice and saying “hey queer” or "heeeeeyyyyy" but that is mainly me.

Here are some of Steven's favorite quotes: "I am Iron Man" "Get out of gear!" "Pikachu" "I love you more!" "Do the facetime" "YEAAH"

I met Madi when I first joined the ISU cross country team, Madi was one of my first friends I made in college. I had the opportunity to go on a camping trip Madi and Daniel a few months after they started dating. I’ve always looked up to Madi and I was just as impressed with Daniel as I got to know him. Super excited for both of them!

Madi and I met through the cross country team at ISU and bonded through the struggles of organic chemistry. The first time we talked was at XC camp where some teammates were wanting to play Kiss, Marry, Kill and I had no clue who they were talking about the entire time as I was brand new to the team. When we got home from XC camp we all were supposed to be quarantined due to an exposure to COVID-19, but when I snuck out to print out my organic chemistry lab manual lo and behold Madi had done the exact same thing as me. We then became study partners for ochem where Madi carried me through the class and became my first friend in my time in Pocatello. She has been one of my best friends ever since that day we both printed off our ochem manuals in rendezvous. Spring break of 2025 when we went to southern Utah I began to see that Daniel and Madi made a great couple and that they would someday get married. Daniel being afraid of heights shirked off this fear in his first outdoor climb being a multi-pitch climb and 100ish foot repel all because he knew about Madi’s passion for climbing. I witnessed how they spoke to, helped, and supported each other through challenges and I had no question that they were right for each other.

Madi has always been a compassionate soul. She hated when people fought, especially her siblings. She was always dedicated and gave her all. In soccer she knocked the boys down if they were in the way of the ball. That dedication and competitive spirit helped her become the person she is today, beautiful, confident, dedicated and compassionate. I love this girl and am so proud of the woman she has become.
