What is the dress code for the wedding?

Where and when will the wedding ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:45PM on October 10th, 2025 at Mount Hood Meadows. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony at 3:30 PM and end at 10:00 PM.

Where should I stay
Answer
Hood River (the closest town to the wedding venue), we recommend the Westcliff Lodge (or any other hotel in Hood River that suits your preference). Guests that are staying at Cooper Spur: Megan and Ryker will work with you on coordinating accommodations. Stay tuned.

What is the weather typically like at Mount Hood in October?
Answer
October at Mount Hood can be unpredictable. Daytime temperatures are usually in the 40s and 50s Fahrenheit, but evenings can get chilly. There's also a chance of rain or even snow, so it's best to come prepared with layers and a jacket.

Will there be an after-party?
Answer
Yes! We'll be continuing the celebration with an after-party at the Crooked Tree Tavern & Grill at Cooper Spur from 10:00 PM to midnight. A shuttle will be provided from Mount Hood Meadows to Cooper Spur after the reception for those attending the after-party.

What time should guests arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at 2:30 PM, 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This will allow everyone to be seated comfortably and avoid any interruptions during the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will be providing beer and wine at the reception. If you'd like cocktails or other beverages, there will be a cash bar available.

I'm flying in for the wedding. What airport should I fly into?
Answer
Please fly into Portland International Airport (PDX). From there, you'll need to rent a car for the drive to Mount Hood Meadows. The drive is about 65 miles and takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Yes, cell service is generally fine at Mount Hood Meadows.

Are you accepting gifts?
Answer
Since we have been living together for several years, we won't do a traditional registry. We would prefer funds to help cover the wedding, our first house, or our honeymoon.

Yes, there will be plenty of dancing!

What time is check-in and check-out for lodging?
Answer
Check-in time for lodging is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Am I allowed a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to space limitations at the venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless you are married.
