We're getting married!

Once upon a time… in a world of banana bread, Tiger King, and government-mandated loneliness, two rebels swiped right on Tinder. We were technically supposed to be staying six feet apart… but we didn’t. No masks, no distance—just chemistry, questionable judgment, and a whole lot of hand sanitizer. Our first date was at Sunapee Lake State Park, where we tried to eat takeout on a beach — romantic in theory, messy in execution. Nothing says “potential life partner” like watching someone fumble a taco in the sand. Then, in a move that totally didn’t resemble the start of a true crime documentary, we took a spontaneous trip down a sketchy back road in rural New Hampshire — Ryan took Karina to his family’s house 10 minutes away. Luckily, it wasn’t a trap... just a stunning lakeside home and a surprise boat ride on his family’s homemade, redneck pontoon, hosted by the legendary Aunt Cindy and Uncle Greg. It was weird. It was wonderful. It was wildly irresponsible. And somehow, it worked. Against all CDC odds, we caught feelings instead of COVID. But we did get a relationship, which in hindsight was equally unexpected. Since then, we’ve adopted a cat named Rocky, the undisputed dictator of our home, who allows us to live under his rule (most days). We’ve packed, unpacked, and argued over furniture placement five times — relationship test: officially passed. And somehow found time to develop a shared love for Disney, though we firmly insist we’re not Disney adults (…okay, maybe a little). Ryan endured Karina’s intense master’s program, and Karina endured Ryan’s 5 AM gym wake-ups — because nothing says romance like mutual sleep deprivation. Through all the chaos, the laughs, and the questionable decisions, one thing’s clear: we’re in this crazy adventure together. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter—with all of you by our side.
