The two main airport options for international guests are: Dublin Airport (DUB): Approx. 1.5 hours by car Shannon Airport (SNN): Approx. 1 hour by car Both airports have car rental options available. Dublin typically offers more frequent international flights, but Shannon can be more convenient for those flying in from certain U.S. cities or connecting through the UK.
Travel Note
For those flying in, we highly recommend renting a car - Cloughjordan House is located in rural Ireland, and having your own transportation will make getting to and from the venue much easier. A few important tips: In Ireland, they drive on the left side of the road - something to keep in mind for our American guests! When booking your rental, double-check that you’ve selected an automatic car, unless you specifically want to drive a manual (stick shift is the default in Europe).
