First came love, then came three cats, then came a house...then came marriage.

They both grew up in the same mountain town but it took moving to a beach town to fall in love. At a small festival in the foothills, Rye saw Zach filling up his water bottle. His beautiful blonde hair beamed as the sun hit his face and at that very moment, she knew... that she was having a hard time getting the spigot to work and needed some help. At this time Rye "wasn't looking" for a relationship but they exchanged numbers since they both lived in Santa Cruz and had mutual friends. Zach invited her to parties, every weekend, and Rye politely declined till one day she didn't. Well, they have been together ever since.

We live happily in the Santa Cruz mountains, a small unincorporated town called Lompico. We just bought our first home (a fixer-upper) in February 2021 and spend most of our time working on it or enjoying its great view from our back deck. When we aren't working you can find us working in the garden and our two fur babies assisting us.
